Darshehwar raised his head and looked at him. Rays of hope appeared in his eyes.
"Yes. You should try to befriend him." He was giving her hope that he would make everything right, and then he did just that. A week... a whole week he spent trying to convince Wijdan and change his mind.
"I don't love her, Zaid." He said with a wink.
"You should try befriending her. She's a really good girl." After a week of struggle, he had succeeded in getting them to talk.

"میں اس سے محبت نہیں کرتا زید"۔ وہ جھلا کر بولا تھا۔

شروع کے دنوں میں وجدان ہمیشہ چڑا کرتا۔ پھر وقت گزرا تو سب اچھا لگنے لگا۔ وہ اچھی لگنے لگی، اس سے بات کرنا اچھا لگنے لگا۔ وہ اس کی طرف ڈھلتا گیا۔ ایسے میں زید درشہوار کو نوٹس کرنے لگا۔ وہ دیکھنے لگا کہ درشہوار کی ڈیمانڈز دن بہ دن بڑھ رہی ہیں۔ وہ تقریباً روز ہی وجدان سے کسی نہ کسی چیز مطالبہ کرتی۔ زید صرف سنتا، دیکھتا، مگر خاموش رہتا۔ ایک سال میں اتنا کچھ بدل گیا تھا۔ وہ جو اس سے ہمیشہ چڑتا آیا تھا اب اس پر دل ہار بیٹھا تھا۔ یونیورسٹی ختم ہونے کو تھی۔
