He understood Zefran's condition and therefore did not mention his departure to him. He got up and
followed her.
" Dear ." He took him under his protection and said. This made Zafran's face turn red and she
started to free herself.
"Jan Min Dilbar Jan" he said again in a hearty way.
"Don't call me like that," she finally said.
"Then what shall I say darling, sweet, baby sweet heart?" She hid her face in her hands at his
continued mischief.
"If you don't like what happened, how is John Balach?"
He was not even spoken to.

" پھر کیا کہوں ڈارلنگ، سویٹو، بے بی سویٹ ہارٹ ۔" اس کی مسلسل شرارت پر وہ اپنا چہرہ ہاتھوں میں چھپا گئ۔
" کیا ہوا یہ بھی پسند نہیں أۓ تو جان بالاچ کیسا ہے۔ " اب کہ اس نے اسے اپنے سامنے کیا اور چہرے سے ہاتھ ہٹاۓ۔
حیا سے اس سے تو بولا بھی نہ گیا۔
" تم بھی مجھے ایسے بلا سکتی ہو۔ " وہ اس کے رنگ بدلتے چہرے پر نگاہ جماۓ کھڑا تھا۔
" مجھے نہیں بلانا ۔" اس نے نفی میں سر ہلایا۔۔
" مجھے اچھا لگے گا بلاؤ نہ۔ " اس نے ضد کی۔
" آپ مجھے اصل بات سے ہٹا رہے ہیں۔ " آخر ہمت کرکے کہہ ہی دیا۔
" لو میں کیوں نہ ہٹاوں گا۔ " اس نے جان کر کہا۔
" آپ کو پتہ ہے میں آپ کے جانے سے پریشان ہوں اسی لیے کہہ رہے ہیں۔ " وہ سنجیدگی سے بولی۔
" وہ تو حقیقت ہے میرا جانا تو طے ہے۔ " بالاچ کو بھی سنجیدہ ہونا پڑا۔
" مجھ سے رہا نہیں جاے گا۔ " کہتے ہوۓ آواز بھرا گئ۔
" میری زیفران بہت مضبوط ہے اس لیے اپنا اور اماں کا دونوں کا خیال رکھنا۔ " اس نے اسے صوفے پر اپنے ساتھ بٹھا کر کہا۔
" میں نہیں رہ سکتی أپ کے بغیر ۔" اس کا دل چاہ رہا تھا کسی طرح بالاچ کو اپنے پاس روک لے۔
" ابھی تمہارا یہاں رہنا ضروری ہے میری جان تمہیں پڑھائی بھی تو پوری کرنی ہے۔ " اس کے ہاتھ تھامے اسے سمجھانے لگا۔
