زہاب نے جبڑے بھینچے ضرغام کو دیکھتے کہا۔

جس کا چہرہ غصے کی زیادتی سے سرخ ہو رہا تھا۔

تم اسے ابھی اور اسی وقت طلاق دو گئے ورنہ تمھاری آنکھوں کے سامنے میں تمھاری بیوی کی جان لوں گا۔

زہاب نے مزید چاقو پر دباؤ ڈالتے کہا۔

نہیں ضرغام آپ ایسا نہیں کریں گئے۔انوشے نے تکلیف کے مارے کراہتے ہوئے کہا۔

زہاب نے اسے بالوں سے دبوچا تھا۔

ابھی زبان بند کرو۔زہاب نے غصے سے انوشے کو دیکھتے کہا۔

جو سہم ضرور گئی تھی۔

اگر انوشے کو کچھ ہوا زہاب تو یاد رکھنا میں تمھارے ساتھ وہ کروں گا جس کا گمان تم نے کبھی خواب میں بھی نہیں کیا ہو گا۔

ضرغام نے دھاڑتے ہوئے کہا۔

کچھ نہیں کروں گا۔

بس میری بات مان لو۔

زہاب نے تیکھے لہجے میں کہا۔

ٹھیک ہے میں تمھاری بات ماننے کے لیے تیار ہوں۔ضرغام نے کمزور سے لہجے میں شاید ہار مانتے کہا۔
