"وارڈ بوئے..! نرس نے اطغان کو سنبھالتے ہوئے چیخ کر کہا تھا روم میں فورا سے وارڈ بوئے آیا تھا-

"جاؤ جا کر ڈاکٹر کو بتاؤ پیشنٹ کو ہوش آگیا نرس نے اطغان کو لیٹاتے ہوئے وارڈ بوئے کو کہا تھا-

”بھائی صاحب آپ گھر جا کر تھوڑا آرام کر لیں اس طرح تو آپ بیمار ہو جائے گیں۔“شاہ میر کے ہاتھ پر ہاتھ رکھتے ہوئے کہا درد صاف عیاں ہو رہا تھا شاہنواز کی آنکھوں میں شاہ میر نے ایک نظر اپنے بھائی کو دیکھا جس کا اپنا بیٹا زندگی اور موت کی جنگ لڑ رہا تھا وہ اسے حوصلہ دے رہا تھا۔

”میں ٹھیک ہو۔“  شاہنواز کے ہاتھ پر ہاتھ رکھ کر حوصلہ دیا تھا۔

”اتنے میں آئی سی یو میں حل چل شروع ہو گئ! تو دونوں متفکر سے وارڈ بوئے اور ڈاکٹر کو آئی سی یو کے باہر تیزی سے آتے جاتے ہوئے دیکھ رہیں تھے۔

”یہ سب کیا ہو رہا ہے میرا بیٹا ٹھیک تو ہے، شاہ میر نے ہمت جما کرتے آگے بڑھ کر وارڈ بوئے سے سوال کیا تھا۔ شاہنواز ضبط کیے دیکھ رہا تھا۔

”ہمھیں ہمارا کام کرنے دیں پلیز۔“ وارڈ ڈراب تیزی سے کہتا وہاں سے چلا گیا شاہنواز لڑکھڑا کر دو قدم پیچھے ہوا اپنے قدموں پر کھڑے رہنا مشکل ہو گیا تھا۔
