Wajahat was supposed to attend the inaugural program of Hijab's school today and then leave for Karachi.

وجاہت نے آج حجاب کے سکول کے افتتاحی پروگرام میں شرکت کرنی تھی پھر کراچی کے لیے روانہ ہونا تھا۔۔
حجاب ،سمیہ،روما ،ثمن اور ناعلہ اس وقت سیاہ برقعے میں سر پر حجاب کے ساتھ پردہ کیا ہوا تھا۔۔حجاب نے سمیہ کو پرنسپل کی کرسی پربٹھایا تھا۔ حجاب اور باقی تینوں کے علاوہ گاؤں کی دو قرآن والی باجیاں بھی اساتذہ کی فہرست میں شمار تھیں۔۔
یہ سکول دسویں تک تھا۔۔۔فنڈ کے علاوہ تمام اخراجات حجاب کے اپنے ذمہ تھے جو اب چودھرانی جی نے بانٹ دیے تھے۔سکول کے اسمبلی گراؤنڈ میں ہی پروگرام کا سارا انتظام کیا گیا تھا۔
سٹیج کے سامنے کرسیاں لگی تھیں جس کے درمیان چار فٹ کا راستہ بنا ہوا تھا۔۔۔ایک طرف تمام لڑکیاں سفید قمیص شلوار پر سفید حجاب اورگلے میں دوپٹے سیٹ کیے بیٹھی تھیں ۔۔جبکہ دوسری طرف والدین اور چودھرانیاں،سرپنجوں کی بیگمات بیٹھی ہوئی تھیں۔ سٹیج کے دائیں جانب کرسیوں کی ایک قطار بنی ہوئی تھی جس پر گاؤں کے معزز بزرگ ،سرپنج ،چودھری اکمل اور اکبر صاحب اور مسجد کے امام صاحب بیٹھے تھے۔
سٹیج پر افسران ، پروفیسرزاور چودھری وجاہت کمال حیدر ایک مشہور و معروف بزنس مین کی حیثیت سے اپنے شاہانہ انداز کے ساتھ بیٹھا تھا۔
وجاہت اس وقت اپنے مخصوص چودھریوں والے لباس میں ملبوس تھا۔بلیک قمیص شلوار پر ہاف وائٹ
واسکٹ اور ہاف وائٹ بڑی سی چادر خوبصورت انداز سے کندھے اور بازوؤں میں ڈالے بالوں کو نفاست سے سیٹ کیے آنکھوں میں تسخیر کر دینے کی چمک لیے سب کی توجہ کا مرکز بنا بیٹھا تھا ۔۔حجاب نے اسے دیکھ کر بے ساختہ ماشاٴاللہ پڑھا تھا۔۔
ایک کے بعد ایک افسرنے لوگوں سے خطاب کیا ان کی اس کاوش کو سراہا۔۔۔آخر میں پروفیسر جو حجاب کے استاد بھی رہے انہوں نے حجاب کو سٹیج پر دعوت دی اور اسےاس زبردست اور نیک عمل کے لیے إعزاز سے نوازا اور یہ اعزاز کسی اور نے نہیں بلکہ اس پروگرام کی آن ،بان ،شان۔۔بزنس مین چودھری وجاہت کمال حیدر نے اسے دیا۔دھڑکتے دل اور کانپتے ہاتھوں سے حجاب نے وہ شیلڈ پکڑی۔
پروفیسرز کے اشارے پر وہ ڈائیس کی طرف بڑھی۔
السلام علیکم حاضرین۔۔ حجاب کی بارعب اور پر اعتماد آواز پر لوگوں میں ہونے والی ہلچل رک گئی۔۔سب نے سلام کا جواب دیا۔
میں بہت شکر گزار ہوں یہاں موجود تمام لوگوں کی جنہوں نے اپنی اہم مصروفیات میں سے وقت نکال کر اس پروگرام میں شرکت کی ۔
میں کوشش کروں گی آپ کا زیادہ وقت نہ لوں۔۔۔۔
میں جب اس سکول پر کام کر رہی تھی،میرا بہت سے لوگوں سے سامنا ہوا۔۔جن میں سے کچھ لوگوں نے طرح طرح کی باتیں کی لڑکیوں کے سکول بنوانے پر اعتراض کیالیکن۔۔۔ان میں سے بہت سے لوگ ایسے بھی تھے جنہوں نے مجھے سراہا،جن میں میرے ابا،میرے اساتذہ،چودھرانیاں اور اور چودھری صاحبان جنہوں نے مجھے حوصلہ دیا ،مجھے ہمت دی میری طاقت بنے میں ان کی ممنون ہوں ۔
اس کے بعد ان افسران کا شکریہ جنہوں نے بغیر رکے اس ارادے پر عمل کیا ،پھر اس سکول کے تعمیر کرنے والوں کی جو آج ان والدین میں موجود ہیں۔حجاب نے ایک نگاہ والدین پر ڈالی۔
لڑکییوں کی تعلیم معاشرے میں سگین مسئلہ ہے بہت سے علاقے آج بھی اپنی پرانی اور بے تکی روایات و خیالات میں گھرے ہیں،وہ عورت کو صرف نوکرانی یا ان کے بچے پیدا کرنے اور پالنے والی مشین سمجھتے ہیں۔
لیکن اسلام نے عورت کو ایک مقام اور عزت دی ہے،عورت کو مرد کے شانہ بشانہ کام کرنے کی اجازت دی ہے،وہ تعلیم حاصل کر سکتی ہے، وہ کاروبار کر سکتی ہے ،وہ ہر کام میں حصہ لے سکتی ہے مگر اپنی ان حدود و شرائطتک جو اسلام نے اس کے لیے مقرر کی ہیں،جواس کی عزت و آبرو کے شایانِ شان ہیں۔
لیکن آج جگہ جگہ عورتوں کے حقوق کو پس پشت ڈال کر پھر سے وہی دورِ جاہلیت کا طریقہ روا رکھا جا رہا ہے،انہیں صرف عیش و تفریح کا سامان سمجھ کر ان کی عزتوں کو تار تار کیا جا رہا ہے۔اس میں غلطی اس عورت کی بھی ہے ،یا تو وہ اس ظلم کو خاموشی سے سہہ رہی ہے۔کیوں۔۔۔؟؟ کیوں کہ وہ کمزور ہے۔
حجاب نے ایک نظر تمام سمعین پر ڈالی پھر گویا ہوئی۔
یا پھر وہ اپنی حدود سے آگے نکل کر بے پردگی اور حسن کی نمائش پر آ گئی ہے۔
عورت کو اپنی تخلیق کی نزاکتوں کو مدِنظر رکھنا چاہیے،اپنی عزت و آبرو ،حیا اور پاکدامنی کا خود محافظ ہونا چاہیے۔وہ یہ یاد رکھے کہ وہ پہلی درس گاہ ہے ،وہ معمار ِانسانیت ہے۔وہ جس طرح کی ہوگی اس کی نسل اس کی طرح ہوگی۔اگر عورت جاہل رہے گی تو پوری انسانیت جاہل رہ جائے گی۔
سب سے پہلے عورت کو اپنے حقوق و فرائض سے روشناس ہونا پڑے گاتب ہی وہ اپنے فرائض کو بخوبی سر انجام دے سکے گی۔تعمیرِانسانیت صرف عورت کا کام نہیں ہے،اللہ تعالیٰ نے نظام کو چلانے کے لیے مرد اور عورت دونوں کو پیدا کیا ہے،دونوں ہی اپنی جگہ اہمیت رکھتے ہیں،اسی طرح عورت اور مرد مل کر ایک انسانیت تعمیر کرتے ہیں،اس عمل میں کامیابی کے لیے دونوں کو اپنے فرائض سے آگاہ ہونا ضروری ہے ۔ اگر دونوں میں سے ایک بھی کمزور ہو ا ،نتیجہ انسانی تعمیر کا نصف ادارہ بے کار ہو جائے گا وہ تعمیرِانسانی کے عمل کے عمل کو جاری رکھنے کے قابل نہ رہے گا۔لہٰذا اس کمزور اور بے کار عملے کو کار آمد بنا کر انسانیت کی تعمیر کے قابل بنا کر انسانیت کا مستقبل دوبارہ سے سر گرمِ سفر کیا جائے۔۔حجاب کی گفتگو نے سب پر سحر طاری کر دیا تھا۔
سب سے آخر میں ،میں ان والدین کی شکر گزار ہوں جنہوں نے بیٹیوں کے حقوق کو مدِنظر رکھتے ہوئے انہیں تعلیم حاصل کرنے اور اس تعمیرِانسانیت میں حصہ ملانے کی اجازت دی ۔سب سے بڑھ کر میں چودھری وجاہت کمال حیدر کا شکریہ ادا کرنا چاہوں گی جنہوں نے ان روایات کو ختم کر کے معاشرے کو نئی راہ دی انہیں ان کے فرائض سے روشناس کرایا تا کہ وہ اپنے بچوں کو تعلیم دلوا سکیں اور خاص تور پر انہوں نےگاؤں میں لڑکیوں کی حفاظت کا انتطام کیا۔۔۔
