" تیری ابھی بھی یاری چل رہی ہے اس ارمان کے ساتھ ، جان چھڑانا چاہتی ہے مجھ سے تو لے ابھی چھوڑ دی جان ۔۔۔۔۔ " اس کے بعد حامد نے وہ الفاظ کہے جنہیں سن کے دریہ کو تو جیسے ہوش ہی نہ رہا ۔

" حامد یہ کیا ۔۔۔ کیا کہہ رہے ہیں آپ میری بات سنیں ایسا کچھ بھی نہیں ہے میں ہدا سے بات کر رہی تھی ، آپ نے یہ سب مزاق میں کہا ہے نا ، میں واقعی میں ہدا سے بات کر رہی تھی ، میرے پاس آپ کے لیے ایک خبر بھی ہے۔" اس کے لفظوں کو مزاق سمجھتے وہ پاگلوں کی طرح اپنے آنسوں صاف کرتی اسے اپنی زندگی میں آنے والی خوشی کے بارے میں بتانا چاہتی تھی ۔

" کیا بتانا ہے ۔۔۔ یہی کہ تو اس ارمان کے ساتھ کہیں بھاگ رہی ہے ، منہ کالا کر لیا کیا ، اور کیسا مزاق میں اپنے ہوش میں ہوں ۔" اس نے دریہ کو بالوں سے پکڑ کے غرا کے کہا ۔

" ایسا نہیں ہے حامد ۔۔۔۔ " اس نے روتے پھر کچھ کہنا چاہا جب حامد اسے گھسیٹتے کمرے سے باہر لایا ۔

" میرا اب تم سے کوئی رابطہ ، کوئی تعلق نہیں نکلو یہاں سے ۔" اس نے ایک جھٹکے میں دریہ کو گھر کی دہلیز سے باہر کیا تو دریہ نے بے یقینی سے اسے دیکھا ۔

" ایسے نہیں کریں ہماری طلاق نہیں ہوئی آپ میری بات تو سنیں پہلے ، امی ! امی انہیں کہیں میری بات سنیں ، میرے پاس خوشی کی خبر ہے سب ٹھیک ہو جائے گا ان کو ایک بار کہیں تو ۔" دریہ نے روتے حامد سے کہا پھر جب وہاں ثریا بیگم کو آتے دیکھا تو ان کے پاس جانا چاہا لیکن حامد اپنی ماں کو زبردستی اندر لے گیا اور دروازہ بند کر دیا ۔

" حامد میری بات سنیں ، ایسا کچھ نہیں ہے سب ٹھیک ہو جائے گا ایک بار مجھے کچھ کہنے تو دیں ۔" دریہ وہی دروازے کے پاس بیٹھتے روتے کہہ رہی تھی ۔

" ایک بار میری بات سن لیں ، آپ بھی خوش ہو جائیں گے سب ٹھیک ہو جائے گا ، امی بھی بہت خوش ہونگی ، ہماری طلاق بھی نہیں ہو گی ۔" دریہ خودی سے آہستہ آواز میں روتے کہہ رہی تھی ۔

کافی دیر ہو گئی جب کسی نے دروازہ نہ کھولا تو دریہ ہمت کرتے اٹھی اور پھر سے دروازہ بجایا ، موبائل اس کا اندر ہی رہ گیا تھا ، اندر سے ثریا بیگم اور حامد کے لڑنے ہی آواز بھی آتی رہی لیکن خود ہی بند ہو گئی شاید حامد کمرے میں جا چکا تھا ۔

دریہ نے ایک نظر گھر کو دیکھا پھر اپنا سیدھا ہاتھ اپنے پیٹ پہ رکھا اور پھوٹ پھوٹ کر رو دی ، کیا میری خوشی پہ مجھے یہ تخفہ ملنا تھا ۔

اس نے تکلیف سے سوچا اور سڑک کی طرف گئی تاکہ کسی ٹیکسی وغیرہ کا انتظار کر سکے ۔
