Introduction Of Novel 

Meri Zeest Ki Arzoo is a family- and emotion-based Urdu novel that revolves around the complicated relationship between a stepbrother and stepsister who are bound together by their parents’ second marriage.

The story begins when the hero’s father marries a widow who has a daughter from her first marriage. The boy never accepts his stepmother or her daughter and constantly tries to harm the girl out of hatred and jealousy. However, fate turns the tables when his father finds out and sends him away to his maternal grandparents’ (nani’s) house abroad to discipline him.

Years later, after both parents pass away, the girl continues to live alone in Pakistan while the boy returns from abroad as a mature man. Unexpectedly, he finds himself drawn toward the same girl he once despised. The story beautifully portrays how time changes hearts — hatred slowly turns into care, attraction, and eventually love.

In the end, after facing emotional turmoil and realizing her true value, the hero confesses his feelings and marries her, fulfilling the title — Meri Zeest Ki Arzoo — meaning “The Desire of My Life.”
