مجھے کہنے لگا میں بہت خوش نصیب ہوں جو مجھے تمہارے جیسی بہت پیاری سی اور پڑی لکھی بیوی ملی،
یہ بات سن کر میں نے تیکھی نظر اس پر ڈالی اور کہا، میں بہت بدقسمت ہوں جو مجھے آپ جیسا جاہل ان پڑھ اور بینڈو شوہر ملا۔۔ میری بات سن کر اسکے چہرے رنگت ہی بدل گئی، وہ کچھ تھا بھی زرا سانولا سا اور اس کے دو دانت بھی زرا باہر کو دیکھائی دیتے تھے۔
وہ شاہد اس قسم کی کھری بات کی توقح نہیں رکھتا تھا میرے اندر تو پہلے سے ہی زہر برا ہو تھا۔۔۔ میرے ماں باپ نے لاکھ منا کرنے کے بعد بھی میرے خالہ زاد سے میری شادی کر دی جو گاوں کا کیسان تھا۔۔۔ والدین کا کہنا تھا لڑکا نیک اور شریف ہے اور کماتا بھی اچھا ہے اس لیے تم وہاں بہت خوش رہو گی۔۔
