"I want you. Haan. Aruhan. Aruhan, listen to me. Haan" Aruhan wanted to say something, so Ruhan went out without listening to him. Aruhan stood there and watched him go.

"میں نے دھوکا نہیں دیا آپ کو میں تو بس۔۔۔“ تعبیر نے صفائی دینا چاہی تھی لیکن اروحان نے اس کی بات کے درمیان میں ہی بولا۔

"کیا بس تعبیر۔۔ ابھی بھی تم کہہ رہی ہوں تم نے مجھے دھوکا نہیں دیا۔۔ تو وہ سب کیا تھا۔۔ ان ہاتھوں سے تمہاری جھلسی لاش کو دفن کیا تھا۔۔۔ کیا آنکھوں دیکھا بھی کھبی دھوکا ہو سکتا ہے“ اروحان نے اپنے ہاتھ تعبیر کے سامنے کرتے ہوئے پوچھا تھا۔

"آنکھوں دیکھا دھوکا ہو سکتا ہے۔۔ آنکھوں دیکھا دھوکا کیوں نہیں ہو سکتا۔۔۔ وہ میں نہیں تھی حان۔۔ اس گاڑی میں میری فرینڈ تھی“ تعبیر نے اروحان کی بات کی نفی کرتے ساتھ ہی سوال کیا تھا۔ آخر میں یقین دہانی کے لیے بتایا تھا۔ 

"ٹھیک ہے مان لیا وہ تمہاری فرینڈ تھی۔۔ لیکن تم گئی کیوں تھی؟؟“ اروحان نے تعبیر کی بات مانتے ہوئے سوال کیا تو تعبیر کے گلے میں گلٹی ابھر کی معدوم ہوئی تھی۔

"بتاؤں بھی۔۔ کیوں گئی تھی“ تعبیر کو چپ دیکھ اروحان نے پوچھا۔ اروحان کے دماغ کی رگیں ابھرنے لگی۔

"آپ سے دور جانے کے لیے“ تعبیر نے ڈرتے ہوئے جواب دیا جس پر اروحان کے چہرے پر یک دم بے یقینی کے تاثرات ابھرے۔

"حان آپ نے مجھے اپنے بارے میں کچھ نہیں بتایا تھا۔۔ آپ ایک گینگسٹر ہیں“ تعبیر نے اروحان کے چہرے کی طرف نظر اٹھا کر جواب دیا تھا۔ تعبیر کی آنکھوں میں درد تھا۔ اپنا یقین ٹوٹنے کا درد۔۔

اس وقت دونوں سب کچھ بھلائے لاونچ میں کھڑے ایک دوسرے سے محوِ گفتگو تھے۔ دونوں کے الفاظ اب ختم ہوئے تھے۔ اب خاموشی بولنے لگی تھی۔ 

"میں آپ کو۔۔۔ حان۔۔ اروحان۔۔ اروحان میری بات تو سنیں۔۔ حان“ تعبیر نے کچھ بولنا چاہا تو روحان اس کی بات سنے بغیر باہر نکل گیا۔پیچھے تعبیر وہاں کھڑی اسے جاتا دیکھتی رہی۔
